Verse 51

II Arjuna uwaacha II
drstvedam mānuşam rūpaṁ tava saumyaṁ janārdana
idānīmasmi samvṛttaḥ sacetāḥ prakṛtim gatalı
🕉 English Translation
Kaha tab yeh Arjun ne Bhagwan se,
Shant aap ka manvi roop yeh.
Huya shant mai dekh kar isseh,
Jika mann hai apne hee swabhav mein.

Arjun said:
O Janardan! Having beheld this extremely peaceful human gentle form I feel composed and have been restored to my normal nature.
The Lord is a sovereignty serene in His essential nature. There is no question of any disturbance there. The fearsome form is to govern creation in a disciplined manner just like the momentary appearance of waves in the ocean. That is why, after showing everything to Arjun, as soon as the request was made for seeing the serene form, he acceded to it instantaneously. Arjun never imagined in the context of the vast form that he would get to see such appalling aspects too. That is why Arjun was amazed, felt scared and got distressed. Now once again seeing his dear Krishna in a serene and graceful form these outpourings of Arjun are natural-
Lord Krishna at this point of time has descended on the earth by assuming a human form. The vision of the cosmic form was an expression of His divinity and infinite consciousness. But once again Arjun is viewing His sportive nature and his restlessness subsided. Now seeing Arjun in a collected state the preacher of the Gita gives Arjun some inspiring guidance affectionately-
