The embodied being is an eternal, immortal part of the Supreme, Because of this relation he is of his nature and endowed with natural knowledge, joy, bliss and energy. This state occurs only when he abides in his true i. e. in his original nature. Not abiding in that state means one's downfall, coming down from that state. The world is perishable, the cycle of nature is that of coming and going. The Supreme dwells in each and every particle of the world. It is everywhere in nature and is present equally in all bodies. If such a vision develops then the attainment of the supreme status will be natural. 'Akshar Brahmn paramam'-The Supreme is Imperishable and that is why is the superiormost. Abidance in Him is termed as absolute calmness and supreme status and for the one who dwells in this state there is no question of downfall-
If one accepts the relationship with the body and the world then it is natural that their nature will influence us. It may be the body or the world that the cycle of coming and going is associated with it; the embodied being will also be trapped in the cycle of coming and going. That the part of Lord who is Truth, consciousness and Bliss (Sachidanand) should be part of this cycle; this is the destruction of the Self i. e. falling down from the this state or getting astray. Protect yourself from this; a golden opportunity is in your hands. One has been blessed with a human body and also further with all means of self-elevation; even then if one is unable to realise the divine truth; then this is a problematic state.
The one who does not cross over the worldly ocean Being endowed with human body, He is worthy to be criticized, of dull intellect and is a Destroyer of his own soul.
The inspirations from the Gita deserve serious thought. The Blessed Lord is with great skill, making us aware of the state which can lead us to our downfall or the state of destruction of the Self by the self, is encouraging us to strive to attain the supreme status. Understand this, make; firm determination for protecting oneself from downfall and abiding in the state of absolute peace.
