📜 Translation English

That being witness is the close observer, being the actual giver of permission is the sanctioner, being the supporter of all is the sustainer and nourisher, the enjoyer as the embodied being, being the master of all, the great Lord and being pure Truth, Consciousness and Bliss, the Supreme Self-it is related in this manner. While living in this body That is still beyond any relationship with it.

💬 Commentary English

The soul seated in the body is the Supreme. In essence and in their essential nature there is no difference. In the form of consciousness in the inert body is That Supreme, but is not involved in any relationship with it; totally untouched, unattached, transcendant! As it is in the body, that is why it is the all-knowing self and as it is outside too, it is omnipresent Supreme; He is the witness to all the inner feelings and also to all the external acts! He is all-knowing and is observing everything. There is nothing which is hidden from Him. He is not just a silent witness but also the provider of good advice inside ourselves- This invariably happens; observe it carefully and understand it. Whenever the mind desires to engage in something which is not right but is improper, it will give adverse results; at that time definitely an inner voice is heard; this act is not right for you; someone or the other giving due regard to it becomes alert; in most cases this voice is suppressed. After the happening of this on a few occasions, ignorance overwhelms and this voice stops coming. This is the voice of the conscience and its sanction. Who is nourishing and protecting this body from the macrocosmic and from microcosmic aspect? The state of being in the womb particularly deserves deliberation. Who has been playing the part of the nourisher and sustainer since then? In the form of the nourisher is that very Supreme? Whatever is offered to Him in the sacrificial fire or by any other way of sacrifice or with any kind of spirit, He is the enjoyer of that. And though in the form of body, the enjoyer of the pleasure and pain is the embodied being but not without the Soul. That is why previously too, it has been named as the Knower of the field or Soul. The governance and control of the entire creation and all systems of this body being in His hands, He is the Great Lord.

Mentality does not get restricted to just to the nature or body or the objects of the senses, that our existence is not just influenced by the qualities of nature; because the consequence of that is just coming and going from this world, that the propensity should get lifted above this, the glimpse of qualities have been shown in the Attributeless Lord so that the attention may be focused on the Lord, and the propensity is centred on Him-
