iti kşetraṁ tathā jñānaṁ jñeyam coktam samāsataḥ
madbhakta etadvijñāya madbhāvāyopapadyate

Gye, gyan aur kshetr in teeno ke,
Swarup tujhse kahe saar mein.
Inhe tatva se jo koyi jaan le,
Bhakt mera veh pachan le.

This field, as well as the knowledge and the nature of the knowable Supreme have been briefly stated. Knowing this in essence My devotee attains to My nature and status of being.
What will I gain by doing anything? This kind of enquiry in a subtle or gross form is found in the mind of everybody. From the commencement of the chapter discussion on the field, knowledge and the knowable is being carried on. In the 5th and 6th verse knower of the field, from the 7th to 11th verse the attributes of knowledge and from the 12th to 17th verse, the nature of the knowable has been related. The necessity is to know all this in essence-
To limit the knowledge to reading and hearing is not at all acceptable to the preacher of the Gita. Know in essence! The body, the field is full of deformities, is ever changing, is unreal-free yourself from the arrogance of the same. Body consciousness is the greatest hurdle on the path of knowledge; first of all, disengage from that and then bring into life the attributes of knowledge. The nature of knowledge which has been described-in that mirror evaluate your life! The Divine is knowable; enhance your eagerness to know Him! What is He and what is He like! If He is so then why do I not experience Him? Only if there is keenness to know will He be known? Not just knowing, 'madbhavaye' such a keen seeker attains My being. The context of knowledge and the word devotee somehow does surprise, but then in the inspirations from the Gita there is no differentiating intellect between knowledge and devotion nor should it be there. Allow the knowledge to develop into experience. Maintain humility in the worldly conduct; keep up the eagerness to know that essential truth; this is a simple means of being one with that Truth and then experiencing the state of realization of that Truth by becoming a devotee-
What are the connections and states connected with the field and its knower? Is it sufficient to know this much or there is something more to be known to make this revelation abundantly clear....? By the preacher of the Gita follows its elaborate and comprehensive analysis-
