📜 Translation English

O Arjun! All beings prior to birth were unmanifest and on death will again become unmanifest. They are manifest in the middle. Why to grieve then in this situation?

💬 Commentary English

While on a train journey one meets several travelers. Some board the train prior to us and some after us. Some will alight first and some later. Each one has to alight on reaching his destination station. One is unaware before boarding and after alighting the train. In the middle what is the purpose of getting attached? Love, good feelings may be there but no attachment. If attachment arises then separation will cause pain.

Tatra Ka parivedna - in such a state why feel sad? We are all aboard the train of time spirit, the destroyer. Journey is continuing, stations are passing, one has to disembark when the validity of the ticket of the breath is over. Everybody has to disembark; destined station for each one has to come; there is no other option. All the true relations are because of the soul, which is free from births and deaths, beyond union and separation. While travelling in life journey, while being in the midst and conducting ourselves in this world the mind should be focused on That! Then one will not be sorrow-stricken.
