💬 Commentary English

Wonderful are the inspirations from the Gita and unique is the style of delivery of these inspirations by the Blessed Lord Krishna. The Blessed Lord desires that by any means the embodied soul should be able to recognize his duty. From the heights of spiritual knowledge to the ground level of practical life, every necessary emotion is being brought into play by the singer of the Gita. Standing to gain in either situation by sticking to one's duty, like the proverb of having and eating cake (laddoo) with both hands. If the body falls (which in any case will fall one day) then the attainment of heaven and while the body is alive in case of victory, enjoyment of the earthly kingdom.

The Krishna of the Gita through the medium of these Gita sermon desires that the embodied being should remain steadfast on the path of duty, but not in the form that his own deeds should become his chains. The Lord wants that social duties should be performed but the embodied soul should remain protected from the sinful effects of action. That is why the series of teachings given ahead is of utmost importance.
