Just as the mighty air blowing in all directions originating from the space rests always in the space, in the same manner all beings originating from My resolve rest in Me; know it to be so!

The truth is that the entire creation and all beings dwell in the Lord and He resides in all. From the point of view of essential truth there exists nothing but God and for the sake of expressing His unattachment from the point of view of worldly conduct and also for the sake of clarifying that why the knowledge described in the ninth chapter, is the king of all knowledge and secrets. The preacher of the Gita has given expression to an extremely unique and profound thought in the fourth and the fifth verse of this chapter. It is possible that on reading these verses many readers would conclude that this chapter is beyond their comprehension. Who would like to get entangled in this complicated riddle of the royal knowledge and royal secret? The Blessed Lord by using a simple and clear illustration is explaining that very fact:
By using an illustration to make a principle appearing to be complicated and deep as simple and clear is the significant feature of the Gita. The air wherever and whenever it moves, whether it blows strongly or gently, it will remain in space; space is all-pervasive; that is why the air moving everywhere will remain confined to it. From spiritual point of view, it is a fact that neither the air is in space nor space in air. But the practical truth is that the air is contained in the space. All beings of this creation wherever they are and whatever they are engaged in, all exist in the Supreme as the Supreme is everywhere and in each and every particle, that is why each particle is also in Him; there is nothing anywhere beyond Him. This is the present state. But what was the state at the time of origin and dissolution of creation? This very fact is clarified further:
