If one becomes the doer, one will have to become the Affector too. If has done something then one will have to bear its consequences. It is certain! See the nobility of the thoughts of the Gita. While performing action even then being free from its bondage!
Why? We are not the doer at all-
When the sense of doership of action is dedicated to the Lord then the Lord says that not just the action is dedicated to Me but also its result will be Mine, I will free you from its bondage: The bondage is in relation to sense of doership, egoism and clinging. Separate it from your life-'moksyase karmabandhanaih' None else but the Lord Himself states-freedom from the bondage of action. That too is not restricted to the present actions but also from those past accumulated auspicious and inauspicious actions, the impressions of actions which dwell inside us. It is true that once the spirit of divinity gains strength in us then the attention does not go towards inauspicious actions; but even then in accordance with the spirit of 'sarvarambha hi dosena' (Gita 18/48) somewhere or the other, the some kind of deficiency is associated to every action whether knowingly or unknowingly; in any case in the past one does not know what all has happened. Therefore in this context the use of the word auspicious with inauspicious is proper and necessary. While performing good action the sense of egoism should not develop. This awareness is also essential.
This is the yoga of renunciation. Renunciation is not associated with particular type of attire, but inner renunciation. The egoism of any good or evil action and accumulated past impressions should not dwell inside, the awareness of the inner state. It is a state of being cautious! This is the state of the attainment of divinity with ease. The hindrances have been removed and have been overcome. Further more, with the spirit of self-offering in every action, the divine emotions accompany. The Lord is already attained; one should remain alert towards such inspiration from the Gita and mould one's life in accordance with it.
Is this state, one of partiality, the Blessed Lord clarifies this with dexterity of expression:
