Mere yoga ka dekho prabhav hi.

Uttpatti palan mai sab ka karun,

Magar khud kisee mein kabhi na rahun.

📜 Translation English

This world is pervaded by My unmanifested form. All beings exist in Me but I do not dwell in them and nor do these beings exist in Me (in reality). Behold My Divine Power of Yoga. The creator of all beings and also their nourisher I Myself in my real form do not dwell in them.

💬 Commentary English

See the first glimpse of the royal knowledge and royal secret! How profound and full of mystery it is This entire creation is pervaded by Me and all beings exist in Me-the first aspect inherent in this verse which deserves deliberation! When the creation was not there, what was there?-Just the Supreme, everywhere the Supreme-nothing else and nothing else. Creation originated from the Supreme. As the Supreme is the immanent power, that is why after coming into being creation exists in the Lord. This difference is definitely apparent that the creation is manifest and visible; Supreme is unmanifest and invisible! When the entire creation is covered and pervaded by the Lord, and the Lord is in each and every particle then it is natural that all beings also exist in Him; they are not different from Him. How can they be separated? It is because there is no place where God is not there! Till here the matter is clear but further follows the royal secret which is thought-provoking:

Otherwise in the Gita, the Lord has stated on several occasions that I reside in all beings as their Soul; but here there is a clear denial! This is the mysterious situation. The Lord while residing in all, still does not exist in them; all beings are under the influence of His consciousness. Through this all are able to perform their functions; but there is no effect of the nature of the qualities of beings on Him. He absolutely transcends them all. The following situation is even more strange-'na ch matsthani bhutani'; the beings also do not exist in Me! It appears as if they exist in Me but it is not so. All the beings reside in the world of their own making. The world of embodied beings and the divine creation from the point of view of deliberation are the two aspects of it. Very rare souls inhabit the divine creation; all others reside in the world of embodied beings made by their own thoughts, tendencies. If one dwells in the influence of the divine spirit, then only can it be said that one dwells in the Lord; but it is not so. That is why the Lord is relating in a surprising manner-'na ch matsthani bhutani! This is not a riddle nor is it any magic show; as if some object appears to be in one's hand and then it disappears! The Lord says-'pasya me yogamaisvaram! Behold My divine yoga.

This is the divine yogic power. While residing in all and keeping all in oneself being beyond all, being untouched by anyone and a clear indication is given that I do not reside in anyone nor does anyone reside in Me! Just not limited to this, but also that He is the source of all and also their supporter and nourisher. But this is His Divinity and nobility that while doing so much He has kept Himself above the egoism and clinging of all these activities and movements. This inspiration from the Gita is full of mystery. The Blessed Lord is indicating towards Himself; but the inspiration is meant for us! Read the inherent spirit of this verse with due concentration, think deeply about it, understand it carefully and discover meaningfulness of life in these expressions. These verses can provide a new direction to the uninvolvement, inarrogance and carefreeness in our life. Take this in this spirit. The Lord is doing the great work of creating, governing, supporting and nourishing such a massive and expansive creation and is still untouched by it all. While being in it, yet He is completely separated from it! While conducting our self in life we are not yet in it; neither are we in the world nor the world in us; the embodied being should rise above the temporal world and reside in the divine existence. We belong to the Lord and He is ours. Wherever we are residing, we are residing in Him. Neither I am in anyone nor is anyone in Me. Take it in a positive sense. Make this divine uninvolvement a basis for becoming uninvolved in the world and becoming involved in the divine.

That the subject does not get complicated; through the means of an illustration the preacher of the Gita simplifies:
