sarvabhūtāni kaunteya prakṛtiṁ yānti māmikām
kalpakşaye punastāni kalpādau visṛjāmyaham
Ho jata hai kalp ka ant jab,
Toh mujh mein samaa jate prani yeh sab.
Kalpa ke shuru mein mai phir vaise hee,
Rachna karun un sabhi jeevo ki.

The origin and dissolution of creation is also a mystery in itself. There are four ages-Satyuga, Treta, Dwapar and Kali; when one thousand such four ages are combined then it makes one day of Brahma; and of the same duration is the night. One day of Brahma is called a 'kalpa' cycle. When on the end of the cycle, that is, when the age of a 100 years of Brahma ends there is dissolution in which all the beings return to the nature of the Lord and in the same manner when Brahma manifests again in the new form then it is called 'mahasarga'. Once again, there is origin of creation, those very beings once again take birth through divine consciousness:
O thoughtful seeker! Grasp the deep inspiration hidden in this verse. The Calculation of the cycle of Brahma and also that of the time duration of the day and night of Brahma is all right but from the point of view of deliberation without going into the intricacies or engaging in argument, counter-arguments and wrong arguments, that what is the nature of this calculation and what it is about, develop an attitude of elevation! Awaken the seeker in yourself. Nor is Brahma immortal neither is creation! Whatever may be the length of time, if the desire, cravings and past impressions and defects persist then this cycle will continue. At the end of cycle dissolution and at its beginning takes birth again from a new point; and in its midst...? No! No! it does not deserve much deliberation. The thoughts should go towards who created this universe and in whom it exists so that one may give up the body thinking about Him; with Him should be sought oneness; otherwise the none knows from when this cycle has begun and till when it will continue-
