The Lord in every situation is competent and capable. He is not bound by norms but all norms flow from Him. But if the framer of rules himself maintains its sanctity then the norms also are honoured and further the active and alert observance of these rules follow. It is invariably seen that where the framers of rules and regulations consider themselves above them and ignore them there we find that the rules and regulations are ignored and flouted. The speaker of the Gita, Shri Krishna in every situation is found to be extremely alert. He is the framer of laws. The laws of the whole are by Him, the cycle of creation revolves around His code of rules, but He despite being beyond them, for the sake of inspiring keeps Himself within them. The creation and dissolution of the world depends on His Will. By assuming incarnation He can seat himself on a high seat and issue orders but does not do so. For maintaining the sanctity of traditions He involves Himself in activities. For seven days he kept uplifted the Govardhan mountain of 7 kosa at the age of seven on the smallest finger of His left hand. He wanted that duty, activity and dedication should remain alive. The incarnation has been taken for establishing the righteous and healthy traditions. If the traditions themselves are destroyed then the purpose of assuming incarnation will be defeated and beings will deviate from their humanity and natural performance of duty.
