O Bharat! Just as ignorant men act with attachment towards action, the enlightened men desirous of maintaining world order should also perform action without attachment in the same manner.

💬 Commentary English

You will observe the intensity of the intimacy with which Lord Shri Krishna desires to make the being dedicated towards his duty. Not just limited to this, for the purpose of making action yoga, Lord Krishna repeatedly by using different logic, arguments, thoughts is trying to make the right path of action, an inspiration for the being. Invariably, it is seen that ignorant, non-discriminating and thoughtless people in their own way keep themselves involved and entangled in actions. Lord Shri Krishna is giving this inspiration with great dexterity and perception that for the ignorant it is not the right time for advancing on the path of spiritual evolution. Desist from saying anything to them; it will be ineffective. Let them remain involved in their own way. From your own side put forth a good ideal in front of them. Perform virtuous deeds. Make selflessness the basis of actions. Instead of just sermonizing make your life a practical ideal example, because actions speak louder than words.
