But those who find fault with my teaching and do not follow it, know such foolish persons wisdom gets deluded and they are doomed to destruction.
To clarify two sides of any situation side by side is an outstanding feature of the Gita. It points to the benefit of following the path of virtue and truth and the harm to be caused if one goes against it in the opposite direction. When the options of both situations are put before us, then it is easy to choose the right one. Truth will remain truth. The Blessed Lord is not just the stealer of butter, cowherd boy, player of sports. He is an indweller soul of all beings. He is the all-imposing universal Lord. It is also true that on being in communion with Him and dedicating all actions to Him it is possible to be free from sin, suffering and anguish. Pride leads to fall and dedicated feelings uplift one. Doubt and quibbling leads to fall and faith to upliftment.
