Nahin theek yeh tu useh chod de.
Moh se agar chod degaa kahin,

In Shri Gitaji the abandonment of action has nowhere been approved of. Actions are the nature of the body. If the body exists then actions will invariably take place. In the category of tamasic abandonment, obligatory duties find a special mention.
There are some actions which relating to the body, family, society and religion are necessary to be performed, but due to attachment to mere indolence, sloth, bodily comfort, rest or due to involvement in useless activities are not done or it is taken as-I will do it, it will be done, etc. For example, in early morning one has to adhere to the practice of doing worship and recitation of scripture, singing of hymns and contemplation, but the pleasure of sleep does not allow one to do so. If mother and father are unwell, and are of old age, to look after their welfare, engage in it, to take care of their food requirements, medicines, etc. are necessary, but if one is engaged in talks or useless actions that duty is neglected. Furthermore, even the necessary actions relating to the body such as call of Nature, bathing, eating, physical exercise, etc. something or the other due to purposeless attachments, laziness or indolence may be ignored. Such abandonment has been termed as tamasic by the singer of Gita, the Blessed Lord.
