Verse 43

tatra tam buddhisamyogam labhate paurvadehikam
yatate ch tato bhūyaḥ samsiddhau kurunandana
🕉 English Translation
Janam lekar Arjun vahan paye woh,
Budhhi ka sanyog picchla hai jo
. Kare yatna ab badhke pehle se bhi,
Dikhata asar pichla abhyasa ka bhi.

There, he becomes united with the wisdom acquired in the previous birth meaning thereby that he acquires effortlessly the impressions of the past in the form of yoga of equanimity. And O Son of the Kurus! Under its guiding influence he more than before strives for the attainment of perfection in the form of divinity.
Once again be reminded of the question raised by Arjun. The attainment of withdrawal from the world is achieved but not the attainment of perfection in yoga; what will be the end? The answer of the Blessed Lord-it carries with it such an orderly sequence of the arrangement of the inner state. After dropping off of the body, the birth takes place in the family of yogis. The earlier impressions of the evenness of mind are carried along! It has been indicated in the foregoing verses, that the impressions earned and accumulated in the previous births can never be destroyed.
Further more, evolution will commence from this point. One has deposited money in the bank and continued to do so for a few months; and there was a break in middle months. Whatever has been deposited earlier, that is already there along with the interest; if after sometime the deposit was continued then the later deposits will be added to the earlier one. If this is the state of worldly wealth then here the matter pertains to the world beyond and relates to the attainment of the supreme state; this wealth cannot be exhausted nor can it be stolen by a thief; it keeps increasing day by day. Such is the wealth which is gained in the form of attainment of the treasure of the Supreme Lord Ram.
The traveller who is travelling, slept at night somewhere; when he wakes up in the morning he will commence his journey from the point he woke up; the journey completed previously would be continued; see this verse in this context:
Now greater efforts are made further! On one hand are virtuous impressions accumulated earlier; and added to that is the environment of devotion and yoga. If one's spirit is good and one further gets conducive environment then this state comes naturally-
