apratistho mahābāho vimüdho brahmaņah pathi
Hai shraddha magar lagan puree nahin,
Vichilit hua yoga se jo kabhi
Na paa sakaa yoga mein siddhi jo,
Gati uski kya ho yeh bhagwan kahon.
Na kuch jisko sansar ka asara,
Prabhu ke bhi pathh se jo vichilit hua.
Hua dono hee ooar se hee bhrashta,
Phate badal samm kya woh ho jataa nashta?
Arjun said:
O Lord Krishna! The one who has faith in yoga, but is not self-controlled, and for this reason his mind in the last stage of his life has wandered away from yoga, such a seeker failing to attain perfection meaning God realization, what end does he meet?
O Mighty Armed One! Does he deluded and supportless, on the path of God realization, like a scattered cloud, fallen from both paths, perish?

One should seek solution to the questions arising in one's mind. It is necessary too in spiritual discipline. If the query remains as a doubt and hangs in the mind, then it will create hurdle on the path of spiritual progress. Arjun's query is of a practical nature. It is often observed to happen. On understanding the essence and importance of the path of yoga, reverence in the mind is created. There is a desire to progress on the path of spirituality; but call it the past impression or the lack of eagerness in the present state; the mind is not completely disciplined. There is no complete control over the mind due to which the ultimate perfect state of attainment of Godhood could not be acquired through yoga. The life is lived. Arjun's query pertains to this state. What will be the state of such a seeker? What end will he meet? The reality of the world has dawned on the mind and the mind has been withdrawn from the world. The refuge of the world in the form of desire and longings, egoism and clinging, etc. has been relinquished; but the ultimate end of God-realization for which the world was forsaken was not attained! Would it be so that the seeker neither attains this world nor the one beyond? In the words of a poet:
Will such an embodied being reach this state. In support of his contention Arjun gave the illustration of the cloud. Scattered cloud! Probably you must have observed in the sky that a part of the cloud after getting detached from the larger cloud seems to be moving ahead. That part on being detached and not getting attached to any other bigger cloud, perishes in the midst! In the same manner is Arjun enquiring:
For dispelling this doubt Arjun makes a humble request to Shri Krishna-
