One of the best outcomes of yoga of action is the purification of the self! The man performing actions as per the yoga of action keeps this in mind. Ordinarily, this fact does not catch anybody's attention. Without giving much thought everyone is engaged in performing action blindly. The state of performing action just by the mind, intellect, body and senses how many persons are aware of. But the action of the man of yoga of action is performed in a state of awareness! In conduct he remains unaffected-like the lotus leaf in the water! In conduct one gets involved due to the sense of attachment and as a consequent reaction to this the inner-self is made impure by the accumulation of impression. This impurity takes the shape of disturbance and on deepening becomes a veil. This veil is the obstacle for yoga. The Yoga of action of the Gita is meant for removing this obstacle.
Actions are not merely performed by the body. The decision of intellect and thoughts of the mind also form part of action. Otherwise too, the initiation of action by the body is also dependent on the decision of intellect. Thereafter, it is dependent upon the thoughts of the mind. For this reason, the awareness in every state is associated with the man of yoga of action. Sometimes the state of 'kevalairindriyairapi'-actions performed just through the senses! Just as in the inner state of natural satisfaction, calmness, establishment in the state of selfhood! For public welfare sometimes while performing one's own work there is total absence of attachment! Wherever there is attachment it will be harmful in every form. The extremely useful, dear to all, unparrelled inspiration from the Gita is stated once again-
