But O Arjun! Without yoga of action the attainment of renunciation is difficult and the man of action who contemplates on the nature of divine soon attains Absolute.

💬 Commentary English

The devotion to Sankhya Yoga is not possible with obstinacy and force. The one centred to the actions limited to the body cannot all of a sudden attain perfection in knowledge. How can the person living body consciousness-and attached to worldly objects experience that state. To read or to hear, to know the scripture by rote, or collecting information is a separate issue. But this merely does not solve the matter. Renunciation is an inner state. Tiil the time there remains accumulated propensities, impurities, impressions in the inner-self till then renunciation can be perfected. For this the Gita gives warning mixed with clear inspirations.

The yoga of action is actually that condition of being where body continues to perform action and the mind is immersed in contemplation, reflection and remembrance of the Supreme. In the world of contemplation/reflection the thoughts of attachment-aversion, expectations should not be allowed to enter. It is a universal fact; The principle that whatever the mind dwells it attains that. This can be easily established by yoga of action. Going straightaway to Sankhya or renunciation can deprive one of the benefits of both. It is necessary to be cautious. What a true man of yoga of action is! See it in the profundity of thoughts of the Gita.
