Verse 25
🕉 Original Sanskrit Shloka

nāhaṁ prakāśah sarvasya yogamāyāsamāvṛtaḥ

müdho'yam nābhijānāti loko māmajamavyayam

🕉 English Translation

Avinashi ajanma na jane mujhe,

Jo hai mudh aise mai unke liye.

Chippa rehta hunn yoga maya se hee,

Nahin samne unnke aata kabhi.

📜 Translation English

Enveloped by My divine maya (illusion) I am not revealed to all. For this reason the deluded world knows me not, the unborn, the Imperishable Supreme.

💬 Commentary English

The Supreme is in reality a mystery. Completely open mystery; but even then the mystery is till today a mystery! Take for example any sportive play from the time of manifestation till He became unmanifest and give it a thought; you will not find the need for any additional proof! What is the essential nature of Krishna? In several instances in the sportive plays it was more than evident. Even then none could identify Him. Why? 'Yogamayasamavrath'-due to the veiling by the divine maya. During the time of incarnation and even today as well the situation is the same-

Being manifest and yet unmanifest! Strange is the state before all; all is divine; still, the envelope of maya is there, makes understanding difficult. This is ignorance; this is the hypnotism of maya; this is bewilderment! The state is the same; the cloud is in front of the sun. The clouds cannot totally cover the sun; where we are; there, the sun is covered by the cloud; we cannot see the sun! If the wind blows and the clouds are removed, the sun is there only! The nature of the Supreme is divine! The veil of divine maya does not allow us to experience Him. If the devotion and reverence grows inside and this envelopment is removed, then we will be able to experience the essential nature of the Lord! The divinity and pervasiveness of His nature is self-evident; there is no effect of the veil of maya on Him, its effect is on the embodied being; see this spirit expressed further
