Chapter 14 — Gunatreyavibhag Yoga

idam jñānamupāśritya mama sādharmyamāgatāḥ
sarge'pi nopajāyante pralaye na vyathanti ch
🕉 English Translation
Isee jnana ka asra lete jo,
Swarup mein mere mil jate woh.
Na paida hon veh tab jo shrishti bane,
Pralaya ho jab toh na dukh ho unhe.

By taking refuge in this knowledge, those becoming of like nature with Me, do not take birth again at the time of creation and do not get disturbed at the time of dissolution.
It is not enough to just have discussions regarding knowledge, or read and study it or even hear it; resorting to knowledge means to imbibe the knowledge within oneself; establish oneself in it. In straight terms, life should now not be driven on by the stick of ignorance, but each expression, decision, action should be guided by knowledge. The basis of life should be knowledge and not ignorance; from this the embodied being will be enabled to reach harmony with the Supreme nature; otherwise, the embodied being deluded by ignorance will keep on whirling in this world cycle. That is why the Lord is persuasively stating the necessity of taking the shelter of knowledge-
It is ignorance which is the cause of wandering in the world and getting entangled in the cycle of coming and going from this world. On acquiring this state, there is the delight of being stabilized in the Lord and then the attainment of the status of liberation. Whether it is the state of creation or dissolution, that being, becoming of the likeness of the Supreme gets liberated forever! When creation takes place, the beings of all worlds will be born and at the time of dissolution there will be suffering of an unbearable kind; but such a being who is established in knowledge will be ever beyond both! He will not be born at the time of creation, and will not face suffering at the time of dissolution.
