The seekers who have their minds attached to the devotion of the unmanifested their struggle is greater. Because for embodied ones the attainment of goal of the unmanifested Lord is difficult.

💬 Commentary English

It is not intended to negate the system of worship of the Formless without attributes. Neither of the systems is said to be inferior. Lord Krishna has a unique way of clarifying the issue. The system of worship of Formless, Attributeless is attainable with more effort.

Birth after birth beings are entangled to, attached to their bodies and their consciousness. The awareness of the body is ever present as one uses it constantly in daily transactions/interactions. The body despite being inconscient feels always to be conscient. The goal in front of us is unmanifest, formless.

Without discrimination and dispassion and six good attributes (control of mind, control of senses, forbearance, withdrawal, reverence with faith, and single-pointedness and desire for liberation) one is unable to concentrate on the unmanifested form of the Lord. For doing this one needs to have constant practice. Practise also which is continuous and disciplined. Only then one will be able to meditate and identify the unmanifest. Without this one will not succeed on the path of devotion of Formless and Unmanifest. This is the complexity of this path. In this path the dedication, determined practice, effort, hard work, reverence with faith are much more than that required on the path of the worship of manifest. How is the path of worship of the manifest simple and easy? It has been indicated in the following two verses.
