Those who are freed from pride and delusion, those who have conquered the evil of attachment, who are ever and constantly dwelling in the Lord, who have become devoid of all desires, have become freed of the dualities of pleasure and pain, such men of wisdom attain that imperishable Supreme status.
Please fill out the form below and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
The abidance in the Lord and attainment of the highest status is the same state. If the abidance in the Lord while in the body is firm only then after giving up the body is the attainment of the highest state possible. To make efforts for higher spiritual existence in this world and the next is also the same state. Only if in this world elevation is attained, one's world thereafter will be an elevated one. If the influence of dualities like desire, anger, avarice and excessive attachment is there, then it is not possible to achieve elevation in this life. Mental restlessness, agitation, intellectual confusion and uncertainties will persist. There will be no stable abidance in the Lord. For this reason the Lord gives a clear indication.
One has to empty oneself from inside. Till the time there is the sense of treating the body as the self and for nourishing and satisfying this feeling related to the body there is the desire to acquire honour and praise for it and further in the expansion of this 'mineness' there is excessive attachment related to it. desire will persist and keep on growing. Associated with the fulfilment of desire, in the favorable conditions is the feeling of satisfaction and on the desires not getting fulfilled in unfavourable situations the feeling of sorrow will continue to agitate inside. It is not only necessary to get rid of these but also imperative to do so. To live life under subjection of these propensities is the state of ignorance and foolishness. The one who is free from them, is not under their subjugation, leads life by conquering them, is the one who is the man of wisdom devoid of delusion. To become free of these propensities is to accomplish easy abidance in the Lord. The embodied being belongs to the Lord, is in the Lord, but these aforesaid propensities have created the gulf and made him move away from the Lord. Understand this reality. The one to whom the embodied being belongs and of whom he is, remain as His. The delusion will automatically come to an end by itself. The abidance in the Lord and immortal Supreme status will be accomplished easily on its own naturally.
