O Arjun! The one who with single-minded concentration always and constantly remembers Me, the Purushottam (Highest Supreme), for that yogi who is ever constantly in union with Me I am easily attainable.

The word 'sulabhah' is undoubtedly a superb inspirational gift of the Krishna of the Gita. I am easily attainable and one can reach Me easily. The reality is that God is ever attained and desires to remain so. That the embodied being should not in any manner or respect, anywhere remain distanced from Him, towards the embodied being He has shown such emotions! For this reason, time and again by giving such inspiration Govind is trying by several means to draw the embodied being towards Himself-
Attachment, feelings, inclination of the embodied being are towards the worldly beings and material objects. Thoughts and remembrance are directed towards them and then revel in them! Then what will happen? The veils will prevail inside! The Lord who is easily attainable will appear to be difficult to attain. For this reason it is imperative to remember Him continuously and single-pointedly! Uninterrupted remembrance of the divine will put to an end accumulated latent tendencies and deformities! Supreme is already attained; it is not an attainment of something unattained, that has come from nowhere. That can be experienced easily and comfortably!
He is easily reachable, but the state requires contemplation with gravity! 'Ananya cetah' the mind should not wander anywhere else! 'Sattat'-continous remembrance should be there; the connection should never be broken. 'Nityayuktasya' Remaining ever united with Him. There should be no disappointment in the least on reading this. The state is not beyond reach. One can remain ever united with the ever present Lord; it is not possible to remain united with the impermanent world. The outer circumstances keep on changing and so do the inner propensities! Who can you think of remaining permanently united with? It would be just a figment of imagination! Unity with the divine is also to be sought through inner emotions. Become of the Lord mentally, and make Him your own. This is a permanent relationship! While engaging in worldly conduct strengthen this relationship from inside. Father-son, husband-wife etc. all these worldly relations do have strength of relationship. This is why they do not have to remember one another; remembrance is naturally present. Understand this state to be similar and accept it! The best, everlasting and the truest relationship is that only. Make yourself firm in this relation. Remembrance will be constant and single-pointed devotion too will be maintained.
Make this superb inspiration from the Gita as the inspiration of life. When the Lord Himself is stating that I am easily approachable then there is no room for doubt. Awaken your faith, enhance your interest, become dedicated, the rest will work out on its own. The benefit of this state is described in the following two verses.
