nānto'sti mama divyānāṁ vibhūtīnām parantapa

eşa tūddeśataḥ prokto vibhūtervistaro mayā

🕉 English Translation

Nahin anth meri vibhutiyon ka,

Bahut hai meri aur bhi shaktiyan.

Kaha tujhse inka yeh vistaar,

Parantap yeh toh inka saar.

O Scorcher of foes! There is no end to My divine manifestations. I have narrated the entire gamut of these manifestations to You in brief

💬 Commentary English

Such a vast creation! There exists not just this universe; there are so many of them, in each of them the Lord pervades, without Him there is no existence of the moving or unmoving existences; how and where can there be an end to His glories? The Lord commences the narration of the glories by this verse 'nastyanto vistatarasya me' (Gita 10/19) and He is concluding in the same words-

The Lord is boundless, fathomless, limitless. It is not possible to narrate completely

about Him nor is it possible to know Him completely too. Arjun had requested for knowing in detail; the Lord said much, described in various ways His manifestations and powers and then Himself stated that whatever I have related is in brief only. Arjun had also expressed his desire to know about Yoga of the divine along with the glories of the Lord.
