Amongst the horses I am Uchchaisravas the one born of nectar; amongst the lordly elephants I am the elephant named Airavat; amongst the human beings consider the king to be My manifestation.
Amongst the weapons I am the thunderbolt and amongst the cows I am Kamdhenu (the cow of plenty), as the cause for the production of progeny I am Kamdeva and amongst the sepents Vasuki am I.

The order of the glories of the Lord is continuing. The preacher of the Gita is including all the divine births, human births and animal births in it. There is nothing separate from Him. He is present in all movable and immovable existences-
Fourteen gems appeared during the churning of the ocean. Amongst these gems Uchchaisrava was one of them. This horse is the best of all the horses, is the carrier of Indra, and is also the king of all the horses; for this reason, the Lord has called him His manifestation. Just like Uchchaisrava, the horse, the elephant Airavat also manifested at the time of churning of the ocean. The best amongst the elephants is called Gajendra (Lord of the elephants) and amongst the lords of the elephant the one who is the superiormost, that elephant Airavat is the manifestation of the Lord. The king is the nourisher and the protector of the subjects. The king who abides by the law of righteousness and the one who considers the welfare of the subjects as his own welfare, that king is the manifestation of the Lord, as he is the superiormost amongst humans. Compared to the ordinary subjects or human beings the responsibility of the king is far greater; one should understand in this manner. If the king also accepts in this manner then definitely a good example of national welfare can be seen.
Amongst all the weapons the Lord has called the thunderbolt as one of His glories. It is natural too as the thunderbolt is not an ordinary weapon. It was made out of the bones of sage Dadhichi. The bones were sanctified by his austerity; the weapon is a divinely radiant and unerring weapon. The Cow Kamdhenu also appeared at the time of churning of the ocean and is the best amongst cows. It is capable of fulfilling the desires of all gods and human beings alike. Because of this it is one of the glories of the Lord. The desire to produce progeny in accordance with the law of righteousness, is the glory of the Lord, not the desire with the aim of obtaining sensual pleasure. In the eleventh verse of the seventh chapter the Gita's preacher has given a similar indication. Amongst the serpents Vasuki is the best of them, is the Lord of the serpents. During the churning of the ocean, this very Vasuki was used as the rope held on both sides by the gods and the demons for churning the ocean. Amongst the serpents this Vasuki has been accepted by the Lord as His manifestation-
